He married Katharine Kline (Klein). Christian's parents were: Christian Stein born 1840 Bergdorf and Margaretha Schmidt born 1845 in Bergdorf. Also searching for information on a Christian Stein Born 3 December 1865 in South Russia. He married Katherine Jenner about 1887-1889. He died in Harvey, ND on 13 January 1952.He is somehow related to my great grandfather - Christian b. June 1866 listed above but I have been unable to establish a connection. Searching for information on Katharina Stein - Born 1862 she died 1918. Her first husband was Daniel Landenberger. Her second husband was Joseph Maier. He was born in 1860 and died 1922. Both Joseph and Katharina are buried in Turtle Lake, ND. Katharina was related to my great grandparents Christian and Margaretha but I have been unable to find any information as to connect them to our Stein families.

In the book "Growing with Pride" history of Harvey, ND page 754: Mr. and Mrs. Christian Stein emigrated from Germany to Eureka, So. Dak., in 1889, they homesteaded one mile south of Harvey in Western Township. They raised a family of ten children. The farm is still owned by members of the family. Not much of a history but with the location of the homestead you may be able to find descendants.
