I've "rescued" an old photograph album belonging to Euphemia JOHNSON of Williston, ND which includes more than 50 family photographs belonging to the JOHNSON, FERGUSON, RUYLE, SUMMERS, SAILER, BARNETT, and WALKER Families in Williams County, ND; Greene County, IL; and Jasper County, MO; in addition to many other surnames and locations. A list of all the photographs included in the album is as follows: Photograph Album belonging to: Euphemia JOHNSON 605 5th Avenue W, Williston, ND (Based on limited research I do find Euphemia A. JOHNSON with her family in Greene, IL during the 1880 census, her parents are John R. age 37 & Mary J. JOHNSON age 39 both born in IL, John R. to parents born in KY and TN respectively and Mary J. to parents both born in PA. Living with them at the time are 5 children, Mary J. age 13, Euphemia A. age 10, William E. age 7, James L.S. age 5, and Albert age 1. A 28 year old Martha E. JOHNSON is also living with the family and based on her parents birth I believe she is a sister to John R. JOHNSON rather than a daughter as the census report references.) · Edward Anderson FERGUSON, pictured on the Wrightsville Mail Wagon, early 1900’s, 4 yrs · Hallie Beatrice FERGUSON, born Aug 6, 1904, almost one year · Charley RUYLE, taken at the Wyllie Studio in Los Angeles, CA, 1880’s or 1890’s, in his 20’s, 2 ghosted faces imposed on photo · Unidentified Family, no loc., parents with 5 children 3 boys, 2 girls, 1870’s, parents 30’s or 40’s, children 4-10 years · Unidentified Couple, taken at the H.W. Johnson Studio in Louisiana, MO, 1880’s, 40’s · Unidentified Male, taken at the S. A. Rice Studio in Roodhouse, IL, 1880’ s, 30’s, may be a memorial photo, addressed to Miss Euphemia JOHNSON in Rolla · Mollie JOHNSON SUMMERS, taken at S.A. Rice Studio Roodhouse, IL, 1870’s or 1880’s, 20’s (Records indicate Mollie JOHNSON married Orie SUMMERS on 28 Jul 1890 in Greene Co., IL) · Cecil Irene SUMMERS, taken at the Decrevel Bros. Studio in Roodhouse, IL, 1880’s, infant · Dan SCHWINER, no loc or studio, 1880’s, 40’s · Ella ALRED and Bina BARNETT, no studio or loc, 1870’s or 1880’s, teens or 20’s (I believe this is likely Ella ALRED the daughter of Hiram & Margaret ALRED who were living in Roodhouse, IL during the 1880 census along with 6 children, Sarah age 23, A.A. daughter age 19, Lois age 17, Dora age 12, Ella age 9, and Herman age 7. Hiram was born in TN and all the others in IL.) · George WALKER, O. A. KIRKPATRICK the stepdaughter of Henry H. MCKEE whose family was living in Joplin, MO during the 1880 census including Mary's Mother Esther MCKEE and six MCKEE and KIRKPATRICK children, including two siblings of Mary J. age 8, who were John J. age 8 (could be twins) and William A. age 4. All were born in IL, with Thomas' parents born in TN and Catharine's in PA.) · Clara FERGUSON, no studio or location, 1880’s or 1890’s, 20’s (I find Clara FERGUSON b. 26 Feb 1872 in Greene, IL to Thomas FERGUSON and Rebecca MURPHY, Clara died June 1933) · Pinkie FERGUSON, Wm J. Huitt Studio in Kane, IL, 1880’s, teens · Robert CUNNINGHAM, C.S. Polk was age 34, born in MO, his wife Elizabeth age 31, born in MO, and six children, Jeremiah age 14, Lureta age 12, Margaret age 10, Olla age 8, Silvia age 5, and Amanda age 3 months.
