Iowa and a Mother -in -law- (Henrietta )Spelling?, Smith, age 68, widowed, b. Illinois, Father, born New York, Mother, born England. They are living in Wells County, Holland Township. On to Galen's father, William, I found something in 1870 and 1880 but not sure if it is him. Do any of these names sound familiar? This would be William H. Thurston's parents and siblings, From 1870 Census: Thurston John, age 52, b. Eng wife, Ann, age 50, b. Eng, son Edward, age 21 b. Eng, son Richard, age 19, b. Eng, son Samuel, age 15, b. Illinois, daughter Ann, age 13, b. Illinois, William age 9, b. Illinois and Charles, age 7, b. Illinois. This is in Kankakee County, Manteno Township, Illinois. Let me know...Karen
