Can anyone on the list tell me the name of the cemetery #43 from the book "Cemeteries of Kiddle County". Thanks for your assistance, Janet
Hi Mike- see if this will help - this is a 1900 transcription that is online: ftp://ftp.us-census.org/pub/usgenweb/census/nd/cass/1900/ed19-pg100a.txt If you are thinking of transcribing the census you have you may want to consider doing it for The USGenWeb Project - if you volunteer for it, they'll send you a template to use which makes it much easier to work with. I'm in the process of transcribing the 1920 census for McIntosh Co, ND. http://www.us-census.org/ Kathy
I have some images of the 1900 Census but when I try to enlarge the printing at some point it becomes too blurred to read anything. I am trying to find out what each of the column headings are in the 1900 census. Some are OK to read but most are not. Does anyone have this info or can point me in the right direction. Looking for information on the Konrad Lang, Albert Rath, and Andy Kapp families from Tappen.
I am interested in an Alexander LEBEDOFF who is mentioned in both the books mentioned above. If not too much trouble, could someone do a lookup for me and see if it mentions Alexander's parents. I'm hoping one will be Katherina Hildenbrand, a sister to my great grandfather. Is this the same Alexander that is buried here: Wishek City Cemetery: Lebedoff, Alexander D. 1888-1955 wife: Rose Lebedoff, Rose 1882-1970 husband: Alexander He would have been about 11 years old when his mother came to the US, if his mother is Katherina. I have a copy of her naturalization papers. Thanks for your time -Kathy in Michigan
I am researching several surnames in Kidder county. I am looking for anything on the name Loerch, Cameron, White or Clark. I have several ancestors buried in Kidder Co. with these surnames but I know very little about them. Thank you, Dean Cameron
Hi my name is Dean Cameron and my family has quite a background in Kidder County. My GGrandfather had a store in Robinson in the early 1900's called the Cameron-Cooker Store. He gave away all the merchandise in the store to his neighbors that were suffering during the Great Depresion. I am looking for information about Fred Cameron and his wife's family, The White's. His wife Josephine White Cameron died of the Flu in 1917. Their family had been in N.D. since the 1870's. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you, Dean Cameron
Hi, I was wondering if someone could look up a couple of obits for me from a family that lived north of Pettibone. These would be from 1925 and 1937 . Please Email me if you can. Thank you. Hi! I am trying to find a copy of the Dawson Centennial Book 1880-1980. Does anyone know where I could either purchase one or a copy? Also, which papers existed in the county in the early 1900s? I have some newspaper clippings -- including obits -- which I'd like to find their source. Is there a repository for these papers? Thanks for any assistance anyone can provide!
