    3. As best I can determine and in talks with other folks it appears that the search engine on Rootsweb designated 'seeker' has gone the way of the dodo bird. If a user had code similar to this: form method= post action= http://seeker.rootsweb.com/cgi-bin/htsearch font size="-1" Match: select name=method option value="and" All /option option value="or" Any /option option value="boolean" Boolean</option /select Format: select name="format" option value="builtin-long" Long /option option value="builtin-short" Short /option /select /font input type=hidden name=config value=htdig input type=hidden name=restrict value= http://www.rootsweb.com/~ndcccccc input type=hidden name=exclude value="" br>Search: input type="text" size="30" name="words" value="" input type="submit" value="Search" /form /center beginning < and ending > removed in hopes that the rest of the 'code' would make it through to the list. then they need to find themselves a new search engine. Yikes! Well, for those who might be looking for a new search engine, here's a list of some free ones: http://www.freefind.com/ http://www.fusionbot.com/default.htm http://www.picosearch.com/ http://www.sitelevel.com http://www.atomz.com/search/trial_account.htm FWIW, I've personally used Atomz and FreeFind, and like them both.
