I'd like to disagree with 'making' CC's put a query link on the main page. I like to organize my sites by having a list of main categories on the main page, one of these being what I call "Interactive Resources" or a label to that effect which includes links to queries (on and off site) and mailing lists --- that sort of thing. Others like to have a more detailed listing all on the main page and some like to have a welcoming page which then links to a page with the site contents, either in categories or detailed.
