Mr. Vestal was born March 10, 1926, to the late Thomas "Boots" and Nellie Adams Vestal. He is survived by his wife, Mary Brooks Vestal. His funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday, Oct. 8, at Charity Baptist Church, with the Rev. Eddie Driver, the Rev. Junior Royal and the Rev. Edward Coins officiating. He will be in the church 30 minutes before the service. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today, Oct. 7, at Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville. Published in the Winston-Salem Journal on 10/7/2007.
