He was the husband of the late Judith King Reinhardt. Mike was born March 2, 1950, in Winston-Salem, N.C., and was a son of James D. Reinhardt and Dora Mathena Reinhardt. He was of the Quaker faith and was a member of the Sons of Confederate Veterans. A graduate of Yadkinville High School, he served his country in the U.S. Air Force. He was preceded in death by a brother, James Daniel Reinhardt Jr. Surviving in addition to his parents of Cana, Va., are three sons, Max Keffer of Walterboro; Matthew Keffer of Coolville, Ohio; and Andrew Keffer of Rockport, Va.; a daughter, Andrea Lawson of Williamstown, W.Va.; a brother, Jeffery Zan Reinhardt of Cana; and a sister-in-law, Janet Reinhardt of Cana. Five grandchildren also survive. A memorial service will be held at 2 Saturday afternoon, Sept. 29, at Pilotview Friends Meeting in Yadkinville, N.C. The family sug! gests that memorials be made to Pilotview Friends Meeting. Arrangements are by Brice W. Herndon and Sons Funeral Homes, Walterboro Chapel.
