He was born Sept. 7, 2007, in Wilkes County to his loving parents, Donnie and Nicole Shew Tilley of the home. His maternal grandmother, Tina Shew, preceded him in death. In addition to his parents, he is dearly loved and survived by his paternal grandparents, Darrell and Nancy Poteat; maternal grandfather Jerry Shew; maternal great-grandparents Junior and Virginia Cheek; two brothers, Terrance Anderson and Shadow Tilley of the home; uncle and aunt Tommy and Lisa Tilley; uncle Justin Shew; and cousin Brendon Thorpe. The family received friends from 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 16, 2007, at Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville. A graveside service followed at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 16, 2007, in Yadkin Memorial Gardens, with Dr. Phil Beavers officiating.
