She was born in Surry County (now Yadkin). She was first married to a Davidson. Her second husband was Jackie Bovendar, and he married again after she died, so I don't think she was buried with him. Jackie was one of the original members of Union Cross Friends Church and the first person to be buried in their grave yard. Her parents are buried at Deep Creek Friends Cemetery in the old section. Their 3 children are Mary Ann, George Washington, and Fatamy. Her greatgrandfather Thomas Brown was the first of our line to come from England.
