Reynolds Hospice Home. Born in Forsyth County on March 29, 1949, he was the son of the late William Coyt and Rahumel Rosetta Tucker Pulliam. He was employed by Indera Mills and was of the Baptist faith. He served as a lance corporal in the U.S. Marines from 1968 to 1970 during the Vietnam Conflict. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, William Pulliam Jr. He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Betty Lucile Franklin Pulliam; two sons, Christopher M. Pulliam and John A. (Tabitha) Pulliam, all of Yadkinville; two daughters, Jennifer R. (Donald) Murphy and Angel L. (Jared) Royall, all of Yadkinville; a brother, Ricky L. (Dava) Pulliam of Kernersville; and eight grandchildren. The service to celebrate his life will be conducted at 3 p.m. today, Dec. 28, at Mackie-Sinclair Funeral Service Chapel, with the Rev. Zachary King officiating. Burial ! will be in Yadkinville Cemetery with military honors accorded by VFW Post 10346. The family received friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 27, 2007, at Mackie-Sinclair Funeral Service. Memorials may be made Hospice and Palliative CareCenter, 101 Hospice Lane, Winston-Salem, NC 27103. Mackie-Sinclair Funeral and Cremation Service is serving the family of Mr. Pulliam.
