He was born July 3, 1955, to Orren Edward Doub Jr. and Lorene Bishop Doub. Mr. Doub served in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1973-1985. He was a member of the Sons of the Confederate Veterans and retired from Forsyth County EMS after 30 years of service. He was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, Keith Doub. He is survived by two sons, Orren Edward Doub IV and Lance Cpl. Joshua Junius Doub, both of Lewisville; three sisters, Susan Rappoport and her husband, Joel, of Winston-Salem; Brenda Mayo and her husband, Pat, of Hamptonville; and Cynthia L. Cenedella of Lewisville; his best friend, Tim Hege of Tobaccoville; and a host of other family members and friends. The funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 6, at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel, with Pastor Jeff Raines officiating. Burial will follow at Booneville Community Cemetery. The fam! ily will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. today, Dec. 5, at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Yadkin County, P.O. Box 1267, 208 N. Jackson St., Yadkinville, NC 27055.
