Mrs. Kamping was born in Yadkin County, May 15, 1914, to Lee and Elizabeth Patton Hudspeth. She was a loving mother and friend to all who knew her. Surviving is her son, Lee Campbell of Dobson. Mrs. Kamping was preceded in death by her first husband, Thomas Campbell. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, Nov. 23, 2007, at Northside Baptist Church, conducted by the Rev. Lee Campbell and the Rev. Dean Eaton. Burial will follow in City Memorial Park in Salisbury. The family will receive friends at the church Friday from 10 a.m. until the time of the service. Moody Funeral Home in Mount Airy is serving the Kamping family.
