Ms. Cranfill was born March 14, 1917 in Davidson County to the late Paris and Ada Filina Stinson Sizemore. She was a member of Harmony Grove Friends Church in Yadkinville. She married Charles Frank Cranfill on October 17, 1936, who preceded her in death on August 5, 1982. She was a homemaker who was an avid gardener and loved working in her flower garden. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters, Hal Sizemore, Clyde Sizemore, Mary Kate Zachary and Peggy Bordeaux. She is survived by her four children, Michael Cranfill of Trinity, Larry Cranfill of Yadkinville, Pamela Cranfill Jones and husband Ronnie of Trinity, Randy Cranfill and wife Lori of Yadkinville; grandchildren, Amber Southard of Winston-Salem, Justin Cranfill of Hollywood, CA, Travis Jones and wife Makara of Sophia, Ric! hard Cranfill of Raleigh and Holly Jones of Fayetteville, Holly Ratcliff of Clemmons, Shanea (Steven) Talley of Yadkinville, Brooke Ratcliff of Yadkinville, and a great grandson, Christopher Ravae Jones of Sophia, six nieces and nephews; special brother-in-law, Shelton Bordeaux. Her funeral service will be conducted at 3:00 P.M., Saturday, September 13, 2008, at Harmony Grove Friends Church by the Rev. Billy Britt, the Rev. Lynn Faw, and the Dr. Harold Salmons. Burial will follow in church cemetery. She will lie in-state 30 minutes prior to the service. The family will receive friends from 7:00 to 8:30, Friday, September 12, 2008, at Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville, which is serving the Cranfill family.
