She went home to be with her Lord and Savior and her greatest love. She was a loving wife, mother, and Nana. She was born in Davidson County on November 21, 1942 to Truby and Nora Beason Bell. She was member of Richmond Hill Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Floyd Eddie Jester; a brother, Donald Bell; six brothers-in-law, Clint Jester, Jack Jester, Everette Jester, James Jester, Hobart Vanhoy, and Willie Kiger; a sister-in-law, Lucy Jester. Surviving are two daughters, Kim (Clint) Matthews and Melissa (Craig) Pettit both of East Bend; a brother, Charles (Betty) Bell of Mocksville; four grandchildren Nana' s babies, Makayla Matthews, Devin Pettit, Grayson Matthews, and Aubrey Pettit; a special cousin, Robert Bell of Arkansas; her brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Pauline and Arno Hobson, Anna Mae Jester, and Elsie Mae! Jester all of Boonville, Lorene Jester of East Bend, Arvil and Sylvia Jester of Pfafftown, Ruth Vanhoy of Yadkinville, and Ruby Nell Kiger of Stanleyville. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday, Sept. 8 at the Richmond Hill Baptist Church with the Rev. Will Hamric and the Rev. Andy Lambert officiating. The body will be placed in the church at 1:30 p.m. to lie instate. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. on Sunday at the Huff Funeral Home in East Bend. The family would like to express special thanks to Forsyth Medical Center staff, the Trinity Infusion staff, family , and friends for the love, support, and prayers during this past year of declining health. God saw you getting tired and a cure was not to be, so He put His arms around you and whispered "come with me." With tearful eyes we watched you slowly fade away. Although we loved you dearly, we would not ask you to stay. A golden heart stopped b! eating, hardworking hands at rest, God broke our hearts to prove to us , He only takes the best.
