"Johnny" Money III, 62, of Doby Road, Mocksville, passed away Friday, April 11, 2008, at Forsyth Medical Center. He was born June 20, 1945, in Surry County to the late John D. Money Jr. and Beulah Cook Money. Mr. Money was the owner and operator of Johnny' s Wholesale of Lexington and a veteran of the U.S. Army serving in Korea. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather to his family. Surviving are his devoted wife of 36 years, Edna Adams Money of the home; two daughters, Victoria L. Money of Raleigh and Julie M. (Mark) Niswonger of Cornelius; granddaughter Laila Niswonger; and two sisters, Sue Money (Charles) King of Charlotte and Nancy Money (George) Turnage of Hamptonville. His funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, April 13, in Gentry Family Chapel. A private burial will be held at a later date. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today, April 12, at Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville. Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
