Mrs. Williams was born April 8, 1915, in Yadkin to the late Alfred and Janie Wilmoth. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Wade Williams; sister Texie Holcomb; and brothers Cletus Wilmoth and Ford Wilmoth. Surviving are her sons, Jerry (Carol) Williams of Pfafftown and Steve (Bonnie) Williams of East Bend; grandchildren Bryan (Tammy) Williams, Jonathan (fiancee Christin) Williams, Craig Williams and Keith (Tara) Williams; great-grandchildren Lindsey Williams, Austin Williams, Tyler Williams and Kayleigh Williams; sister Lillie Williams of Kernersville; and several nieces and nephews. Her funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 5, 2008, at Union Cross Friends Church, with the Rev. Archie Creed, the Rev. Nelson Puffinbarger and the Rev. Reece Wall officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemeter! y. She will be in the church 30 minutes before the service. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today, Jan. 4, 2008, at Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville. Flowers will be accepted, or memorials may be made to Union Cross Friends Church, 2533 Union Cross Road, Yadkinville, NC 27055.
