Reynolds Hospice Home. She was born Sept. 30, 1927, in Yadkin County to the late Lugene Martin and Lucy Wall Morefield. Mrs. Miller spent her life farming and as a homemaker. She was a faithful member of Richmond Hill Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Claude Miller; two brothers, Claude and Howard Morefield; and a sister, Elsie Parrish. Surviving are her children, Norma (Steve) Davis and Brenda (Phil) Clinard, all of Boonville; Janace Hobson of East Bend; Patricia (Ron) Renegar of Harmony; and Debbie (David) Smith of Boonville; seven grandchildren, Christi B. Smithey, Jamie S. Renegar, Danny P. Hobson, Stephanie C. Wilkins, Adana R. Davis, Patrick Smith and Brandon Smith; two stepgrandchildren, Matthew Davis and Cindy Matthews; seven great-grandchildren; four step-great-grandchildren; and a ! sister, Nonie Hutchens of Boonville. The family will receive friends from 10 to 11 a.m. today, Jan. 15, at Richmond Hill Baptist Church. Her funeral service will follow in the church at 11 a.m. today, Jan. 15, with the Rev. Will Hamric officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Richmond Hill Baptist Church Building Fund, 2205 Richmond Hill Church Road, Boonville, NC 27011, or Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home, 101 Hospice Lane, Winston-Salem, NC 27103. Gentry Family Funeral Service of Yadkinville is serving the Miller family. Published in the Winston-Salem Journal on 1/15/2008.
