My records go back to 1800 /- for a union between Joseph H. Stewart and Mary Brown. Their son Alfred Shelton Stewart b.8-13-1836 d.3-9-1920 married Frances Eveline Reddick on 10-27-1860 was my great, great grandfather. Any assistance would be appreciated. Hi Nancy, Do you have anything on a James Archibald STEWART (1859-1897) and from Harnett County, NC? He married Laura A. SMITH (1852-1915) a daughter of George A. SMITH of Stokes County)? They are buried in Pilot Mountain Cemetery. James was a son of William Henry STEWART, Jr and Amelia Elizabeth Upchurch, both of Wake County, NC.
