Preceding her in death were her loving husband, Clifford Winters; infant son Harold Freddie Winters; father Bud Vestal; mother Epsie Driver Vestal; sister Gladys Vestal, Bertha Streeter, Annie Pearl Edwards and Myrtle Reynolds; and brothers Charles "Dock" Vestal, James "Red" Vestal and Carl Vestal. Surviving are her son, Wesley Winters, and wife Brenda; daughter Brenda Mallard and husband David; grandchildren Wendy (Jeff) Harris and Holly (Luke) Money; great-grandchildren Hope Harris and Brock Money; sister Edith Winters; and several loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Mrs. Winters was a prayerful, warm and caring woman. She was a friend to all who knew her, and an example of her kindness was how she spent her life lifting others' burdens. She loved and longed to see her Savior Jesus Christ and husband Cliff. Mrs. Winters was a great homemaker, wife, mother, grandmother and w! as well known for her abundant flowers and well kept yard that she loved to show. She always had a cup of coffee in her hand and loved to simply be called, "Mama" or "Maw Maw." We' ll Miss You!! Her funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday, June 23, at Gentry Family Chapel, with the Rev. J.P. Sizemore, the Rev. Tommy Conley and Dr. Leon Mikles officiating. Burial will follow in Mitchells Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Sunday, June 23, at Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville.
