He lived 80 years. He was born May 20, 1927, in Yadkin County to William Chester "Dulin" Williams and Connie. They were loving parents and preceded him in death. Pell is survived by his wife of 54 years, Norma Coe Williams of the home. Their children are Billy Williams (Debbie), Betty Cain (Sheriff Mike) and Darrell Williams (Denise). He was preceded in death by son Timmie Williams; and infant son Mark Williams. He had five grandchildren, Franklin Williams (Jessica), Heather Cain Shew (Justin), Sarah Williams, Mindy Williams and Marcus Williams. Great-grandchildren are Taylor Williams, Caleb Shew and Jacob Cook. His sister is Nell Johnson of Yadkinville; and nieces are Debbie Wilkins (Ronnie), Regina Styers and Terry Johnson (Donna). He was fond of a special friend of the family, Pam Alspaugh; and loved his dog, Winston. For many years his career was loader and dump truck work and then logging. Pell loved spendi! ng time in nature, watching the sunrise and the birds at his bird feeder. He loved to sit and watch little rabbits play, his goats jump and deer run across the fields. He was special to his family and taught them to take care of God' s creatures. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a special family charity, Hospice, or to the building fund at Union Grove Baptist Church, Yadkinville. The family will receive friends as an honor to Pell from 7 to 9 tonight, Feb. 5, at Huff Funeral Home in East Bend. His funeral service to celebrate his life will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 6, and he will be available for viewing from 1:30 to 2 p.m. at Union Grove Baptist Church, Yadkinville.
