Mrs. Davis was born April 21, 1924, to the late John H. and Myrtle Caudle Moxley. She was a homemaker and a member of Peace Haven Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Dorothy Adams and Margaret Grubbs; and a brother, Bobby Joe Moxley. Surviving are her husband of 64 years, Clyde Thomas Davis of Boonville; her sons, Benny (Judy) Davis of Boonville and Rick (Lucille) Davis of Winston-Salem; two grandchildren, Randy (Lisa) Davis and Regina (Danny) Draughn; three great-grandchildren, Dillon Draughn, Kari Davis and Kendra Davis; two sisters, Colleen Hunnicutt of Winston-Salem and Wanda Lou Cox of Pinnacle; two brothers, the Rev. John D. (Angeline) Moxley of Winston-Salem and Jack (Marie) Moxley of East Bend; and several nieces and nephews. Her funeral will be conducted at 3 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 12, at Peace Haven Baptist Ch! urch, with the Rev. Bruce Freeman, the Rev. Zeno Groce, the Rev. Perry Link and the Rev. John D. Moxley officiating. She will be in the church 30 minutes before the service. Burial will follow at Peace Haven Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today, Feb. 11, at Peace Haven Baptist Church in Yadkinville. Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville is serving the Davis family.
