Mr. Pardue was born July 2, 1932, in Yadkin County to the late D.H. and Beulah Hall Pardue. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, William Greg Pardue; brothers Carlie Pardue and an infant brother. Surviving are his wife, Louise McCoy Pardue; son Scott (Cindy) Pardue; grandchildren, Blake Pardue, Chloe Pardue and Abby Pardue (mother Karen Pardue Richards); sister Geraldine Caudle; brothers Olin (Grace) Pardue and Don Pardue; and several nieces and nephews. His funeral service will be conducted at 3 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 17, at Sandy Springs Baptist Church, with the Rev. David Kiser and the Rev. Howard Wagoner officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery with full military honors by Yadkin VFW Post 10346. He will be in the church 30 minutes before the service. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 tonight, Feb. 16, at Gentry Family Fu! neral Service in Yadkinville, which is serving the Pardue family.
