She was born February 17, 1914 in Yadkin County to the late Eugene Haynes, Sr. and Victoria Wagoner Haynes. Ms. Haynes was retired from Chatham Manufacturing and was a member of Fall Creek Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by an infant sister, and her sisters, Ruby V. Haynes, Cordia Irene Haynes, Opal Mae Winters, Versie Lorene Haynes; and her brothers, Laffate McKinley Haynes, James "Jim" Tildon Haynes, Edgar Hughy Haynes, Raymond "Ray" Theodore Haynes, Finley "Fin" Clay Haynes, Samuel Dewey Haynes, Paul Vernon Haynes, Roy Lee Haynes, and Calvin Eugene Haynes. Surviving are her sister, Minnie Louise Day; and several nieces and nephews. Her Funeral Service will be held 11 a.m. Friday in the Gentry Family Chapel with the Rev. Don Hudson and Dr. Leon Mikles officiating. Burial will follow in Fall Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. The fa! mily will receive friends from 7-9 p.m. Thursday at Gentry Family Funeral Service in Jonesville. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Fall Creek Baptist Church, Fall Creek Church Road, Jonesville, NC 28642. Online condolences may be made to www.gentryfuneralservice .com.
