She was born March 18, 1956 to Harvey D. & Maxine Shaffner Wagoner. She was a retired Nurse at Hugh Chatham Memorial Hospital, and was a member of Cool Springs Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband Phillip Collins, her mother Maxine Shaffner Wagoner. Surviving are her two daughters Missy Collins (Johnnie) Harrell, Goldsboro; Amy Collins (Eddie) Pendergrass, Statesville; five grandchildren Laken Collins, Kendal Pendergrass, Landry Harrell, Spencer Grace Harrell, Jonah Harrell; her father Harvey D. Wagoner, Calahan Florida; two brothers Donnie Wagoner, Jonesville; Bobby Wagoner, Hamptonville. Her funeral will be conducted 11:00 a.m., Saturday December 20, 2008 at Gentry Family Chapel in Jonesville, by Barry Shaffner. Burial will follow at Cool Springs Baptist Church cemetery in Elkin. The family will receive friends from 10 to 11:00 a.m. before the service on ! Saturday December 20, 2008 at Gentry Family Funeral Service in Jonesville.
