Mr. Peebles was born March 3, 1947 in Guilford Co. to Charles Curtis and Creola Marsh Peebles, both deceased. He was also preceeded in death by a dear son, Larry Dean Peebles; a brother, Jerry W. Peebles; and two sisters, Tula P. Richardson and Wanda P. Jacobs. Surviving of the home are wife, Denise and daughter, Laurn, who was the love of his life. Also surviving are sisters, Nina Allred (Ron) of Kernersville, Hilda Bare (Thomas) of Sophia, Brenda Allred (Artie) of Winston-Salem; brother, Curtis Peebles (Lisa) of Ohio; and sister-in-law, Carol Peebles of High Point. The family will receive friends from 2 until 5 p.m. on Saturday, December 6, at Hayworth Miller Funeral Home at 3315 Silas Creek Parkway in Winston-Salem. A special Memorial Service will be held at Southside Baptist Church, 408 W. Lee Ave. in Yadkinville,! NC on Sunday, December 7 at 10:30 a.m. It will be officiated by the Rev. Billy Seats and the Rev. Deran Wyatt. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Mountain Valley Hospice, 208 North Jackson St., Yadkinville, NC 27055 or to the Peebles family for an educational fund that has been set up for the minor child at Wachovia.
