He was born June 4, 1970 in Forsyth County to Harold and Bertha Jones Ridings. Mr. Ridings was a 1989 graduate of Carver High School. He had worked for Merita Bakery and was presently employed by Dairy Fresh. He loved to hunt and fish and was a wonderful husband, father and friend to all. Survivors include his wife, Tracey Fennell Ridings, his son, Zachery Edell Ridings and his daughter, Sierra Leslie-Ann Ridings all of the home; his parents of Winston-Salem; his sister, Kimberly Basham and husband, Lowell of Winston-Salem; his brother, Billy Ridings and wife, Kim of Clemmons and a number of nieces and nephews. The funeral service will be conducted Thursday at 1:30 p.m., at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel, with Rev. Tim Gammons officiating. Burial will follow in Enon Baptist Church Cemetery in East Bend. The family will receive friends tonight fr! om 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to a special trust fund for Roy' s son and daughter.
