Born in Yadkin County on May 14, 1940, he was the son of the late Richard W. and Annie Williams Pinnix, Sr. He was a contract mowing operator and was of the Baptist faith. Mr. Pinnix is survived by two brothers, Roy (Linda) Pinnix of Boonville and Michael G. (Vickie) Pinnix of Yadkinville; two sisters, Vexie (John) Fletcher and Mary (Ray) York all of Yadkinville; a stepson, Kevin Pruitt and a stepdaughter, Debbie Pruitt and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Richard W. Pinnix, Jr. The service to celebrate the life of Mr. Pinnix will be held on Sunday, December 21, at 5:00 p. m., in the Mackie-Sinclair Funeral Chapel, with Rev. John Fletcher officiating.
