He was born in Yadkin County, March 12, 1936 to the late Thad and Maddie Davis. Mr. Davis sold insurance up until his retirement. He is survived by two former wives, Joann Cockerham, and two sons, Danny and his wife, Lois, and Ronald Davis and his wife, Janet; and Cheryl Davis and two sons, Brandon and Kevin Davis. Also surviving are one grandson, Jonathan Davis; two granddaughters, Brittany and Tiffany Davis; and one great-granddaughter, Jasmine Davis. Memorial Services for Mr. Davis will be held Monday, December 22, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. at North Point Baptist Church with the Rev. Skip Furrow and the Rev. Larry Walker officiating.
