He was born November 11, 1920 in Yadkin Co. to the late Lawrence Cliford and Grace Apperson Creech. He lived most of his life in Forsyth Co. and was a member of New Bethel Baptist Church for 50 years where he served as a Sunday School Teacher and was also a member of the Gideons International. Mr. Creech was preceded in death by his parents and son, Lawrence (Larry) Creech, Jr. He is survived by his wife Doris Heath Creech of the home, four daughters, Becki Davis (Calvin), King; Bobbie Williams (Bobby Lee), Tobaccoville; Carol Tesh, Pfafftown; and Dianna Foster (Richard), Winston-Salem; a son, Fred White (Sharon) Germanton, ten grandchildren and a number of great-grandchildren. Funeral Services will be conducted on Thursday, August 14, 2008, at 11:00 a.m., at Vogler & Sons Reynolda Chapel. Rev. Jack Elliott and Dr. Carlos Cooper will be officiating. Interment will follow at Forsyth Memorial Pa! rk. Visitation for the Creech family will be on Wednesday Evening, August 13, 2008 at Vogler & Sons from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to New Bethel Baptist Church Building Fund.
