Mrs. Couch was born April 27, 1915, in Yadkin County to Troy & Martha Parsons Collins. Mrs. Couch was a homemaker and a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Otis Couch; a son, Leon Couch; a son-in-law, Henry Pardue; two grandsons, Billy Norman, Justin Osborne; three sisters and four brothers. Survivors include: two sons, Lanny Couch and wife Betty, Larry Couch and wife Cathy all of Elkin; three daughters, Levora Pardue of Ronda, Janet Cheek and husband Joe, Joyce Bell and husband Tony all of Winston-Salem; eleven grandchildren, eighteen great grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted, Today, at 2 p.m. at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church, with Rev. Jerry Fugate and Rev. Danny Dodds officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour pri! or to the service from 1 -to 2 p.m. at the church.
