She was born June 27, 1917 in Ohio to the late Columbus and Bess Williams. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Gilmer Gray Dinkins; son, Ricky Dinkins; several brothers and sisters. Surviving are her children, Keith (Judy) Dinkins, Phil Dinkins; grandchildren, Courtney Dinkins, Cody Dinkins, Jeffery Dinkins, Phillip Dinkins; two great grandchildren; brothers and sisters; several nieces and nephews. Her funeral service will be held 1:00 PM Wednesday, October 8, 2008 at Forbush Baptist by the Rev. Ray Davis. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. She will lie in-state 30 minutes prior to the service. Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville is serving the Dinkins family.
