Mr. Haynes was born March 4, 1918 to the late Eugene & Victoria Wagoner Haynes. Mr. Haynes was a retired minister; he pastored five Pentecostal Holiness Church' s during his ministry. He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Bertha Cleo Reinhardt Haynes; and 12 brothers and sisters. Surviving are his sons: Lowell (Betty) Haynes, Wilkes, Vernon Gerald (Sirkka) Haynes, Florida; two grandchildren, Leona Haynes, Pauli Haynes; one step-grandson, Thomas K. Wallenius; two great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Minnie Day and Angie Haynes. His funeral will be conducted Saturday, October 4, 2008 at Gentry Family Chapel in Jonesville by the Rev. Steve Swaim, Rev. Bobby Prevette officiating. Burial will follow at Longtown Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Saturday, October 3, 2008 at Gentry Family Funeral Service in Jonesville.
