Mrs. Bertha Leigh Hoots Wooten, 77, passed away Saturday October 4, 2008 at her residence. Mrs. Wooten was born March 9, 1931 to the late Ferdinand & Naomi Groce Hoots. She was a member of the Yadkinville Pentecostal Holiness Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Paul S. Wooten; and a sister, Amanda Bell Hoots; six brothers: Calvin, Issac, Clyde, Cliffton, James, and Bobby Hoots; brother-in-law, George Wooten. Surviving are her sister, Ethel (Paul) Swaim, Boonville; her brother, Grady Hoots, Yadkinville; in-laws, Ruth Hoots, Martha Hoots, Doris Hoots, Ralph & Shirley Wooten, Maxine Wooten, Rosalene & Joseph Brandon; and several nieces and nephews. Her Funeral will be conducted 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, October 7, 2008 at Gentry Family Chapel by the Rev. Mack Cassell, and Rev. James Talen! t. Burial will follow at Yadkinville Pentecostal Holiness Church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2:00 3:30 p.m. Tuesday October 7, 2008 before the service at Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville. The family would like to thank the staff at Hoots Memorial Hospital, and Dr. Cathy Shore. The staff of Gentiva. The staff of Hospice and Palliative Care of Forsyth County.
