Ms. Johnson was born on August 31, 1930 in Surry County to Columbus Myers and Thelma Tucker Southard. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband James Monroe "Jr." Johnson, and a son-in-law Terry Keaton. Surviving are her children, son Steve (Debbie) Johnson of East Bend, daughters Wanda Baker, Carol (Tim) Moore, Sandra Keaton, and Diane (Terry) Rushing, all of East Bend; grandchilren Doug (Daisy) Johnson, Kenny (Mary) Baker, Jamie (Laura) Baker, T.J. Moore, Shannon Moore, Brandon Keaton, and Chris (Krista) Johnson; great-grandchildren Christina and Allison Johnson, Kaitlyn and Mekayla Baker, Brandon Vuksanovich, Noah and Jacob Marion, and Isabel Johnson (due in Feb.). Funeral Services will be conducted Wednesday, Nov. 26 at 2 p.m. at the Huff Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Sam Jones officiating. Burial will follow in the Allen-Johnson Family Cemetery.
