She was born May 5, 1921 in Yadkin county to William and Ellen Robinson Vestal. Mrs. Money was retired from Chatham Manufacturing and was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church where she was a faithful member while her health permitted. She loved her Church as well as her Church family. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Thomas O. Money; sisters, Sarah Sizemore, Hazel Bell, and Lucille Blackburn; and two brothers, Hugh Vestal and Jim Vestal. Survivors include: two daughters, Mary Sylvia Searcy of Elkin and Nancy Money of Elkin; two sisters, Loraine Bowman of St. Augustine, FL and Peggy Ellen Wilmoth of State Road; three grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held Monday, November 17, 2008 at 2 p.m. at Hodges Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Joel Blevins officiating. The burial! will follow in Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday evening from 7-8:30 p.m. at Hodges Funeral Home. The family will accept flowers or memorials may be made to Macedonia Baptist Church Building Fund.
