The next monthly meeting of the Surry County Genealogical Association will be held Monday, July 14, 2008, at 7:00 pm, in Building A of the Teaching Auditorium at Surry County Community College in Dobson. As soon as you drive into the college entrance, look to your left and the building should have a big "A" identifying it on the outside. Once you enter the building, go to your right and you will see the sign. The topic of this meeting will be a short presentation on the status of the past 2 years work by volunteers who have worked on locating and identifying cemeteries in Surry County.
