She was born October 16, 1957 in Forsyth County to Alfred and Annie C. Leatherman. Ms Leatherman was a graduate of Rutledge College, and a Legal Assistant for 17 years with Kilpatrick-Stockton in Winston-Salem, and was a member of Center United Methodist Church. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and was a loving devoted, mother, sister, and grandmother. Surviving are her beloved sons, Jonathan Kimmer, and friend, Vanessa, of Yadkinville; Derek Kimmer of Jonesville; her parents of Yadkinville; grandchildren, Kamden, Raven, and Keaton Kimmer; four sisters, her twin, Darlene (Carlton) Webb, East Bend; Ravona (Randy) Abbott, Yadkinville; Donna (Mike) Lauer, Sherry (Josh) Johnson, all of East Bend; father of her children and friend, Lynn Kimmer; nieces and nephews, Bryan and Nathan Walker, Kurt and Justin Layell, Patrick Abbott, Melissa Bennett, Heather Haslett! , Marty Williams, James Williams; and her special friends and co-workers at Kilpatrick-Stockton. Her funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 A.M., Thursday, in the Gentry Family Chapel, with Brother Steve Johnson, and Brother Steve McCollum officiating. Burial will follow in the Center United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:30 - 8:30 P.M., Wednesday, at Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville.
