She was born Sept. 18, 1949, in Yadkin County to the late Luther and Ida Mae Allgood Beamon. Mrs. Shore helped in her community and worked as a nurse' s aid at Homestead Hills Retirement Center. She was a member of Gospel Way Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Russell Shore; and a brother, Johnny Luther Beamon. Surviving are her sisters, Shirley (Roger) Billings and Kathy (Mike) Ratledge, all of Yadkinville; adopted brother Kevin (Charlotte) Beamon of Yadkinville; 10 nieces, nine nephews, and several great-nieces and great-nephews. Her funeral service will be conducted at 4 p.m. Thursday, April 24, at Gentry Family Chapel, with the Rev. Allen Barker and the Rev. David Maynard officiating. Burial will follow in Gospel Way Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7 to! 9 p.m. today, April 23, at Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville.
