She was born Aug. 3, 1947, in Plant City, Fla., to the late Joe and Bertha Marshall. Mrs. Hatfield was a member of Island Ford Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Margaret Little. Surviving are her husband, Conard Hatfield; sons Brian (Adelia) Keith Hatfield and Roger (Lynn) Kevin Hatfield; grandchildren Brianna Grace Hatfield, Jared Keith Hatfield, Mercy Renee Hatfield, Kayla Mechelle Hatfield, Chance Hatfield, Harley Rhiannon Hatfield and Scarlet Rose Hatfield; and brothers Elmer Gene (Elizabeth) Marshall and Ellis Joel Marshall. Her funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday, March 7, at Island Ford Baptist Church, with the Rev. Alan Barker officiating. She will be in the church 30 minutes before the service. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 Thursday evening, March 6, a! t Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville, which is serving the Hatfield family.
