She was born June 27, 1970, in Wilkes County to the late Jessie Lee and Dorothy Sprinkle Hayes. Surviving are her husband, Harley James Collins Jr.; daughters Sydney Collins and Lashae Collins; sisters Shelia Branson and Faye (David) Gilmore; and brother Luther (Gina) Wright. Her funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 15, at East Elkin Full Gospel, with the Rev. Jerry Childress and the Rev. Mike Osborne officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. She will be in the church 30 minutes before the service. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today, March 14, at Gentry Family Funeral Service in Jonesville, which is serving the family. Published in the Winston-Salem Journal on 3/14/2008.
