She was born on July 7, 1915, in Yadkin County to Charles and Ruby Hauser. Mrs. Trivette was a longtime member of Lewisville United Methodist Church where she served as a past treasurer and enjoyed going on trips with the Echoes Group. She was also a member of Lewisville Historical Society and Lewisville Arts Council. Mrs. Trivette enjoyed gardening, painting and flowers. She retired from R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Co. and was a Lewisville Postmaster from 1940 to 1942. Mrs. Trivette was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Thomas F. Trivette; three brothers, Fred Hauser, Jack Hauser and Tom Hauser; and three sisters, Gladys Hogue, Vera Ashburn and Jessie Anthony. She is survived by her daughters, Louise (Greg) Aaron and Toni (Mike) Jones; her grandchildren, John Thomas Sipe and Dr. Anna Leigh Sipe; and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Trivette loved her grandchildren. T! hey were the love of her life. A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday, March 6, at Lewisville United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Tom Lee and the Rev. Keith Bingham officiating. Interment and visitation will follow the service. Memorials may be made to Lewisville United Methodist Church Building Fund, 6290 Shallowford Road, Lewisville, NC 27023, or to a charity of the donor' s choice. The family would like to express their heartfelt appreciation to everyone at Clemmons Village I for the love and care they gave "Mama Nell." Also, a special thank you to Ruth Drewery and Robin Johnson, her hospice CNAs. Published in the Winston-Salem Journal on 3/5/2008.
