She was born June 17, 1917, to the late John and Sarah Frances Denny Pratt. She was of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Arthur Leake Caudle; and seven brothers and sisters. Surviving are a daughter Lou Raye Adams of Boonville; a son, Lee (Doris) Caudle of Germanton; grandchildren Lee Ann Caudle, Mark (Angie) Adams, Sharon (Barry) Conaway, Darrin Adams, Steven Adams and Jeff (Lisa) Adams; 12 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and a sister, Lucy Pratt McCormick. Her funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday, March 6, at Gentry Family Chapel, with the Rev. Archie Creed and Mark Adams officiating. Burial will follow at Crestwood Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today, March 5, at the funeral home in Yadkinville. Flowers will be accepted, or memorials may be made to Mountain Va! lley Hospice, 208 N.
