Reynolds Hospice Home. Mrs. Miller was born Sept. 24, 1924, in Surry County to Arthur Patrick and Ethel Williamson Southard. Mrs. Miller was retired from Northwestern Bank and was a member of Boonville Methodist Church where she served on several church committees. She was also a member of Boonville Women' s Club, and she received numerous ribbons for her needle work. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Walter Miller Jr.; and a sister, Sybil Wagoner. Survivors include two sons, James A. Miller and wife Ann of Pfafftown and Mark W. Miller and wife Earline of Deatsville, Ala.; three grandchildren, Katherine Teuschler and husband Michael; Ric Woods and wife Nikki; and James Earl Miller; and her sister by love, Bonnie Vestal. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday, March 6, at Boonville Methodist Church, with t! he Rev. Marion Swann and the Rev. Jennifer Wells Stewart officiating. Burial will follow at Boonville Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour before the service from 10 to 11 a.m. at the church.
