She was born November 17, 1944 to the late Harley & Bessie Marshall Buelin. She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister Mary Yarboro; two brothers James Buelin and Charles Buelin. Surviving are her husband Leon Swaim, of the home; her children Danny Swaim, Hamptonville; Tammy (Michael) Poteat, State Road; Kristy (Emory) Casstevens, Hamptonville; eight grandchildren Dusty (Krystal) Swaim, Bo Swaim, Daniel Swaim, Megan Poteat, Haley Poteat, Kassey Casstevens, Hunter Poteat and Matthew Poteat; three great-grandchildren Danielle Swaim, Dylan Swaim, Presley Swaim; a sister Annie Shumate; a brother Delmar Buelin. The family will receive friends from 6-7 PM Thursday September 2, 2010 at Gentry Family Funeral Service in Jonesville. A memorial service will be conducted at 7:00 PM Thursday September 2, 2010 at Gentry Family Chapel in Jonesville by the Rev. Jim! Holbrook.
