Mr. Holcomb was born February 4, 1978 in Surry County to Timothy Gray Holcomb and Pamela Orpurt Rumple. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Jonesville and was the owner of Holcomb Lawn Care Service. In addition to his father, Mr. Holcomb was preceded in death by his grandfather, Joe Holcomb. Survivors include his son, Trevor Medley; his mother Pamela Rumple; his sister, Alicia Chappell and husband Damon; grandmothers, Vera Holcomb and Joyce Lindt; a niece, Maddie Chappell; aunts and uncles, Tammy and Forrest Bates and John and Connie Floyd; his cousin Jonathan Bates; and his girlfriend, Jessie Beverly. A funeral service will be conducted Friday, August 20, 2010 at 3:00 p.m. at Fall Creek Baptist Church with Rev. Don Hudson officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
