She was born March 20, 1935 in Forsyth County to the late Robah and Polly Brown Temples. Mrs. Dixon was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and homemaker to her family. She loved working with her flowers, especially her favorite flower which was the Iris. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, John "Chick" Dixon. Surviving are her 4 children, John Samuel Dixon, Terry (Becky) Dixon, Debra (Tony) Goin, Cheryl (Randy) Sizemore; 5 grandchildren, Tonta Hawkins, Jacob Goin, Layla Goin Payne, Rachel Goin Cave, Dalton Sizemore; great-grandchildren, Anthony, Tyler, Michael, Olivia; sister, Betty Cromer; and a brother, Doug Temples. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Sunday at Gentry Family Funeral Service on Little Mountain Road in Jonesville. Her graveside service will be 11:00 AM Monday in the Swaims Baptist !
