She was born June 15, 1915 in Lynn, Indiana to the late Melver and Esta Cook Reavis. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Samuel David Shore; son, David Lee Shore; sisters, Olive Culler, Melva Culler, Mildred Sherrill; brother, Willard Reavis. Surviving are her daughter, Betty Shore (Edward) Johnson; grandchildren, David Lee Shore, Jr., Barry (Gina) Shore, Steven (Brenda) Shore; great grandchildren, Daniel Shore, Haley Shore, Hillary Shore, Holly Shore, Samuel Shore; sister, Marie (J.C.) Windsor; brothers, Tomas (Jean) Reavis, Patrick Reavis; several nieces and nephews. Her funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m. Thursday, August 19, 2010 at Gentry Family Chapel in Yadkinville with the Rev. Jesse Miles and the Rev. Grady Trivette officiating. Burial will follow at Bethel Baptist Church. The family will receive friends fro! m 12:00 to 2:00 on Thursday, prior to the service at Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville.
