Born in Yadkin County, she was a bookkeeper at Brown-Rogers-Dixon Company. Mrs. Lehman was a member of Mineral Springs Baptist Church, where she had been an active member of her Sunday School class and a lifelong member of the choir. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dietrich E. Lehman; her parents, Rev. R. E. Adams and his wife Lillie Della Poindexter Adams; a brother, Rev. William (Bill) Adams, and a sister, Ruth Elizabeth Adams Martin. Surviving family includes her niece, Judy Adams Hardy and her husband, Bill of Elkin; her nephew, Walter Martin and his wife Carole of Charlotte. A visitation starting at 10 a.m. and Funeral Service starting at 11 a.m., celebrating her life will be conducted on Saturday, November 6, at Mineral Springs Baptist Church, 3733 Ogburn Avenue, Winston-Salem (336-767-3716). The Funeral Service will be ! conducted by Dr. Cecil Cave.
