He was born September 6, 1937 in Yadkin County to the late William Roscoe and Florence Macy Buelin. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Jackie Buelin, James Buelin, Bobby Buelin, Jerry Buelin, Rex Buelin; sister, Vertie Mae Norman; sister-in-law, Lola Wiles Buelin; brother-in-law, Jasper Durham. Surviving are his wife, Betty Jean Brantley Buelin; children, Julie (Dennis) Whitaker, Bunny (Donald) Gregory, Allen (Christie) Buelin, Johnny (Melissa) Buelin, Becky (Randy) Willard, Joyel (Timmy) Miller, Stevie (Nikki) Buelin, Willie (Kelly) Buelin; grandchildren, Jennifer (Michael) Scott, Daniel Gregory, Danyelle Gregory, Brandon Willard, Jonathan Miller, Amber (Cory) Chambers, Andrea (Jordan Byrd) Sayers; great grandchildren, Ayla Chambers, Bella Byrd; brothers, Terry Buelin, Harold (Brenda) Buelin, Robert Buelin, Aaron Buelin; sisters, Peggy Lou Buelin, Gab! riel Durham, Susan (Donald) Hutchins, Carolyn (David) Crabb; sisters-in-law, Shirley (Ned) Boger, Dorothy Buelin, Leona Buelin, Cathy Buelin; brother-in-law, Rothie Norman. His funeral service will be held 3:00 p.m. Thursday, November 18, 2010 at Northwood Baptist Church with Dr. Allen Barker and the Rev. Jonathan Barker officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 17, 2010 at Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville.
